The hospital hygiene operational team at the Haguenau Hospital Center in the Bas-Rhin region conducted prospective surveillance of the condition of PICC line dressings both at the time of application and during use for hospitalized patients in 2019 and 2021. Infectious and mechanical complications were identified in both periods. A report on the results of the first survey was proposed to the institution's professionals.

Faced with the risk of transmission of Sars-CoV-2, health professionals had to quickly learn how to protect themselves from possible contamination from the patients they cared for. The knowledge of the modes of dispersion of the virus made it possible to propose only complementary precautions "droplets" for the care of the patients with, for some, the need to wear a respiratory protection FFP2. After several months, we investigated the risk felt by the professionals and the feeling of safety that the different instructions concerning the wearing of surgical masks, FFP2 protection, gloves and hand hygiene gave them.

Introduction: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention developed the Swift Worksite Assessment and Translation (SWAT) evaluation method to identify promising practices in worksite health promotion programs. The new method complements research studies and evaluation studies of evidence-based practices that promote healthy weight in working adults.

Methods: We used nationally recognized program evaluation standards of utility, feasibility, accuracy, and propriety as the foundation for our 5-step method: 1) site identification and selection, 2) site visit, 3) post-visit evaluation of promising practices, 4) evaluation capacity building, and 5) translation and dissemination.

Objective: The improvement of ambulant treatment for patients with chronic headache or cancer pain.

Methods: Distribution of accepted guidelines and standards by means of the internet in order to make this knowledge known among general practitioners and to give patients better access to this information.

Results: We have built an internet manual about the treatment of chronic headache and cancer pain.

Background: The Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI) measures preference for each of four learning orientations: abstract conceptualization, concrete experience, active experimentation, and reflective observation. These orientations define four learning styles: convergence, divergence, assimilation, and accommodation.

Methods: To determine if learning style correlates with objective multiple-choice and clinical measures of performance, the learning styles of third-year medical students (n = 227) were evaluated using the LSI.
