Aims: Classification and risk stratification of endometrial carcinoma (EC) has transitioned from histopathological features to molecular classification, e.g. the ProMisE classifier, identifying four prognostic subtypes: POLE mutant (POLEmut) with almost no recurrence or disease-specific death events, mismatch repair deficient (MMRd) and no specific molecular profile (NSMP), with intermediate outcome and p53 abnormal (p53abn) with poor outcomes.

Cellular senescence is a complex biological response to sublethal damage. The RNA-binding protein HNRNPK was previously found to decrease prominently during senescence in human diploid fibroblasts. Here, analysis of the mechanisms leading to reduced HNRNPK abundance revealed that in cells undergoing senescence, mRNA levels declined transcriptionally and full-length HNRNPK protein was progressively lost, while the abundance of a truncated HNRNPK increased.

Video frame interpolation (VFI) is a task that generates intermediate frames from two consecutive frames. Previous studies have employed two main approaches to extract the necessary information from both frames: pixel-level synthesis and flow-based methods. However, when synthesizing high-resolution videos using VFI, each approach has its limitations.

Adhesive joining has the severe limitation that damages/defects developed in the bondline are difficult to assess. Conventional non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques are adequate to reveal disbonding defects in fabrication and delamination near the end of service life but are not helpful in detecting and monitoring in-service degradation of the joint. Several techniques suitable for long-term joint integrity monitoring are proposed.

In this study, dietary exposures to 9 food emulsifiers, including 4 polysorbates and 5 esters of fatty acids, were assessed in Korean population. For the exposure assessment, three scenarios of the consumption, including mean and P95 in whole population and mean in consumed population, were applied. As a result, the EDIs of 9 emulsifiers were overall low compared to the ADIs.
