The epitaxial growth of molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) on sapphire substrates enables the formation of single-crystalline monolayer MoS₂ with exceptional material properties on a wafer scale. Despite this achievement, the underlying growth mechanisms remain a subject of debate. The epitaxial interface is critical for understanding these mechanisms, yet its exact atomic configuration has previously been unclear.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT), utilizing a photosensitizer (PS) to induce tumor cell death, is an effective modality for cancer treatment. PS-peptide conjugates have recently demonstrated remarkable antitumor potential in preclinical trials. However, the limited cell membrane binding affinity and rapid systemic clearance have hindered their transition to clinical applications.

Due to the increasing pollution of electromagnetic waves and the vigorous development of intelligent electronic devices, there is great interest in finding high-quality electromagnetic wave absorbing materials for integrated control boxes (ICBs) that integrate various electronic components. Polyaniline (PANI) is a new type of absorbing material with great potential due to its designable structure, simple preparation process, low density and adjustable conductivity. Herein, we prepared BCNF/PANI nanoscale conductive fibers with core-shell structure by in-situ growth of PANI on the surface of bacterial cellulose nanofibers (BCNF) by oxidative polymerization and further prepared cellulose/polyaniline/polyvinyl alcohol (BCNF/PANI/PVA) composite aerogel absorbing material by a freeze-drying process.

In nuclear wastewater treatment, ion-scavenging materials designed to trap TcO is urgently needed. However, strong acid/base, high radiation and high salt concentration of nuclear wastewater usually result in inadequate stability and adsorption capacity of the adsorbent. Herein, we report a new class of bifunctional anion-exchange olefin-linked COF (BPDC-MTMP) prepared via Knoevenagel condensation reactions, the first example exploring the synergistic integration of positively charged fragments at both nodes and linkers.

Rationale: We report here a case of using iodine-125 (125I) seed implantation via endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) in the treatment of malignant central airway obstruction (MCAO) in a patient with lung adenocarcinoma.

Patient Concerns: The patient still experienced MCAO after conventional bronchoscopic interventional therapy.

Diagnoses: The patient was diagnosed as lung adenocarcinoma stage IV (T4N2M1a).
