Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder with an early onset and a genetic and epigenetic component. ASD is characterized by deficits in socio-emotional reciprocity, impaired verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and specific difficulties in developing and maintaining adequate social relationships with peers. Indeed, restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities are required by DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.

Inverted rib waveguides formed by SU-8 photoresist deposited on top of full wafers, with trenches in silica, were used as a platform to implement such optical devices. Narrowband spectral filters based on microracetrack resonators and diplexers based on directional couplers, both with high extinction ratios, are demonstrated.

Objectives: To develop a Latin American Consensus about Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. To clarify, reinforce, and adapt some specific recommendations for pediatric patients and to stimulate the implementation of these recommendations in clinical practice.
Design: Expert consensus recommendations with Delphi methodology.
In a retrospective analysis of a series of clinical trials by Levin and Hryniuk in 1987, the average relative dose intensity of first-line chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer correlated significantly with clinical response and survival, and cisplatin was the only drug for which the outcome correlated with the individual drug relative dose intensity. There was a need to test whether and to what extent this evidence would be confirmed in a prospective evaluation. In this study 101 patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma were randomized to receive the same total dose of cisplatin but at the conventional 3-weekly schedule (CTWS) (100 mg/m2 every 3 weeks for six cycles) (51 patients) or at an experimental accelerated weekly schedule (AWS) (100 mg/m2 every week for two triplets of three cycles separated by a 5-week interval) (50 patients).

FAM was utilized as a control treatment arm.
Methods: Fifty eligible patients were assigned to the FAM (5-fluorouracil 600 mg/m2 intravenous (i.
