Background: The COVID-19 pandemic introduced complexities that were likely more demanding for some groups, such as children and adolescents, and especially those with pre-existing mental health diagnoses. This study examines long-term patterns of psychiatric healthcare use among this vulnerable group, providing insights into shifts in psychiatric healthcare use during a global health crisis.

Methods: We use data from the primary and specialist healthcare registries available from the Norwegian emergency preparedness register for COVID-19 (Beredt C19) to estimate patterns of psychiatric healthcare use.

Background: Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Fatigue Short-Form (PROMIS-F-SF) is a self-administered, patient reported outcome (PRO) designed to assess fatigue in healthy and clinical populations and for tracking progress during treatment for disorders complicated with fatigue.

Methods: Patients in the Mental Health Service Outpatient Clinics and healthy volunteers were invited to complete a survey, which included the Danish translation of the PROMIS-F-SF, the Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFS-11), and measures of depression and anxiety. We conducted a confirmatory factor analysis of the previously suggested single-factor structure of the instrument.

Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT is increasingly used for primary staging in prostate cancer (PC), mainly because of its improved accuracy in detecting lymph node metastases compared with conventional imaging. However, the diagnostic benefit of PSMA PET/CT for detecting bone metastases is less well established. This study compares the diagnostic accuracy of F-PSMA PET/CT and F-NaF PET/CT for detecting bone metastases in patients newly diagnosed with PC.

Organ function depends on the three-dimensional integrity of the extracellular matrix (ECM). The structure resulting from the location and association of ECM components is a central regulator of cell behavior, but a dearth of matrix-specific analysis keeps it unresolved. Here, we deploy a high-resolution, 3D ECM mapping method and design a machine-learning powered pipeline to detect and characterize ECM architecture during health and disease.

Objectives: To develop a tool for measuring performance of a coordinated care center against the criteria of an integrated practice unit (IPU) and test it against an established care center in the Military Health System (MHS).

Study Design: Characteristics of 4 patient care coordination models were sorted using the 11 criteria of the IPU.

Methods: Subject matter experts evaluated characteristics and criteria for inclusion or exclusion based on the needs of specialty care in the MHS.
