Importance: Outcomes in patients with diabetes after fractional flow reserve (FFR)-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using current-generation drug-eluting stents (DES) compared with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) are unknown.
Objectives: To investigate the relative treatment effect of PCI vs CABG according to diabetes status with respect to major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) at 3 years and to evaluate the impact of the SYNTAX score.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This is a prespecified subgroup analysis of the FAME (Fractional Flow Reserve vs Angiography for Multivessel Evaluation) 3 trial, an investigator-initiated, randomized clinical trial conducted at 48 centers worldwide.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is primarily diagnosed through its characteristic motor deficits, yet it also encompasses progressive cognitive impairments that profoundly affect quality of life. While dopaminergic medications are routinely prescribed to manage motor symptoms in PD, their influence extends to cognitive functions as well. Here we investigate how dopaminergic medication influences aberrant brain circuit dynamics associated with encoding, maintenance and retrieval working memory (WM) task-phases processes.

Methods: Observational retrospective cohort study from the ELSO registry database in pediatric cardiac patients from birth to 18 years old with PH supported on ECMO from January 2011 through December 2020.
Objective: To describe real-world patient characteristics, prior treatment patterns, and associated healthcare resource utilization (HRU) and costs among patients with locally advanced/metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC) treated with enfortumab vedotin (EV).
Methods: This retrospective study used the United States (US) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services 100% Medicare claims data from 2015 to 2020. Included patients had a diagnosis of la/mUC and received treatment with EV.

Electroencephalography (EEG) plays a crucial role in the diagnosis of various neurological disorders. However, small hospitals and clinics often lack advanced EEG signal analysis systems and are prone to misinterpretation in manual EEG reading. This study proposes an innovative hybrid artificial intelligence (AI) system for automatic interpretation of EEG background activity and report generation.
