Trop2-Expression in Correlation to the Molecular Subtype in Vulvar Squamous Cell Carcinomas (VSCC).

Targeted therapy with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) has shown promising results in the treatment of various solid tumours. Sacituzumab-govitecan (SG), a humanised anti-Trop2 monoclonal antibody in combination with the cytotoxic topoisomerase I inhibitor SN38, has been approved for the treatment of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. The treatment approach with SG requires the expression of Trop2 in the tumour cells.

Molecular Subtypes of Vulvar Squamous Cell Carcinoma: The Significance of HPV-Independent/p53 Wild Type.

Vulvar carcinoma is a rare disease, meeting the criteria for a "rare cancer", but its incidence is increasing, especially in women <60 years of age. Squamous cell carcinoma (VSCC) accounts for the overwhelming majority of vulvar carcinomas and is the focus of this review. As with many cancers, the increased understanding of molecular events during tumorigenesis has led to the emergence of the molecular subclassification of VSCC, which is subclassified into tumors that arise secondary to high-risk human papillomavirus infection (HPV-associated, or HPVa) and those that arise independently of HPV (HPVi), most commonly in the setting of a chronic inflammatory condition of the vulvar skin.

Large Douglas Abscess with Distinctive Bilateral Salpingitis in a Young Virginal Woman 6 Months Following Small Bowel Perforation at the Level of the Jejunojejunostomy After Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass: A Case Report.

Douglas abscesses (DA) involving the ovaries and/or fallopian tubes and tubo-ovarian abscesses (TOA) constitute a very rare finding in virginal females. Underlying conditions are suspected to play a role in their development; often however, the exact pathomechanism remains hypothetical or unknown. We report the case of a 19-year-old virginal female who was referred to our outpatient clinic for further clarification of a 6-month ongoing secondary amenorrhea.

Analysis of the Clinical Value of Laparoscopic Sacrocolpopexy to Support the Posterior Compartment in Women with Multicompartment Prolapse Including Rectocele.

: Laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy is regarded as the gold standard treatment for apical or multicompartment prolapse, predominantly with anterior compartment descent. However, the optimal surgical approach for concurrent rectocele is still debated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of nerve-sparing laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy in managing multicompartment prolapse with concurrent rectocele (≥stage II), analyzing the anatomical outcomes, the necessity for concomitant or subsequent posterior repair, and the impact on bowel function in women undergoing surgery.
