Objective: To identify race/ethnic disparities in rehabilitation services after stroke and characterize the independent associations of each of race/ethnicity and rehabilitation to functional recovery post-stroke.
Methods: The Transitions of Care Stroke Disparities Study (TCSD-S) is a prospective cohort study designed to reduce disparities and to optimize the transitions of care for stroke survivors throughout the state of Florida. Participant characteristics were extracted from the American Heart Association's Get-With-The-Guidelines-Stroke dataset.
HER2-positive (+) breast cancer is an aggressive disease with poor prognosis, a narrative that changed drastically with the advent and approval of trastuzumab, the first humanized monoclonal antibody targeting HER2. In addition to another monoclonal antibody, more classes of HER2-targeted agents, including tyrosine kinase inhibitors, and antibody-drug conjugates were developed in the years that followed. While these potent therapies have substantially improved the outcome of patients with HER2+ breast cancer, resistance has prevailed as a clinical challenge ever since the arrival of targeted agents.

There remains significant variation in the provision of pediatric emergency care, particularly in resource-constrained settings. The objective of this study is to pilot a self-assessment tool to evaluate pediatric emergency care capabilities in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) hospitals on the African Continent.

Aim: To assess how lockdown measures affected symptoms related to the gut-brain axis in IBS patients in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The plasticity of plant cells underlies their wide capacity to regenerate, with increasing evidence in plants and animals implicating cell-cycle dynamics in cellular reprogramming. To investigate the cell cycle during cellular reprogramming, we developed a comprehensive set of cell-cycle-phase markers in the Arabidopsis root. Using single-cell RNA sequencing profiles and live imaging during regeneration, we found that a subset of cells near an ablation injury dramatically increases division rate by truncating G1 phase.
