The authors present statistical data on 120 medical abortions performed at "Pavillon Victor Olivier" between April, 1976 and June, 1983. A precise study was performed on the maternal and fetal indications, the different techniques employed according to gestational age, and their follow-up since 1976. The principal purpose of this article is to arouse reflexion on the consequences of the law of 1975, as well as the appropriateness of the maternal and especially of the fetal indications.
