The purpose of this study is the separation and analysis of a partially depolymerized heparin-like glycosaminoglycan by on-line ion-pairing reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography/electrospray mass spectrometry. The gas-phase behavior of two synthesized glycosaminoglycans has been investigated.
