Importance: Positron emission tomography (PET) biomarkers are the gold standard for detection of Alzheimer amyloid and tau . Such imaging can identify cognitively unimpaired (CU) individuals who will subsequently develop cognitive impartment (CI). Plasma biomarkers would be more practical than PET or even cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) assays in clinical settings.

The prevalences of polyneuropathy and epilepsy are higher in people living with Parkinson's disease (PwPD) when compared to older adults. Vitamin B6 is widely available and affordable. PwPD are at higher risk of having abnormal serum levels of vitamin B6, which are associated with polyneuropathy and epilepsy that are potentially preventable and treatable.

Background: In response to the rise in opioid-related deaths, communities across Ontario have developed opioid or overdose response plans to address issues at the local level. Public Health Ontario (PHO) leads the Community Opioid / Overdose Capacity Building (COM-CAP) project, which aims to reduce overdose-related harms at the community level by working with communities to identify, develop, and evaluate capacity building supports for local needs around overdose planning. The 'From Design to Action' co-design workshop used a participatory design approach to engage communities in identifying the requirements for capacity building support.
