This paper discusses the evolution of assessment for learning (AfL) across the globe with particular attention given to Western educational jurisdictions. Scholars from Australia, Canada, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, and the United States discuss prominent assessment reforms within their respective countries over the last decade. Particular attention is given to the impact of the pandemic as well as technological developments for classroom assessment policies and practices.

Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome (CAPS) is a rare complication that can occur in patients with Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS). CAPS occurs even more rarely during pregnancy/puerperium and pregnant patients, even less likely to show cardiac involvement without signs of damage on ultrasound and angiography with non-obstructive coronary arteries. We present a case of a 26-year-old breastfeeding woman, the youngest described with CAPS and acute myocardial infarction, whose diagnosis was made with cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI).

Background: There is little and controversial information about changes in plasma concentrations (PCs) or clinical events during coadministration of antiseizure medications (ASMs) and direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs). We aimed to explore possible determinants of dosage class among DOACs trough PCs when ASMs are co-administered and the relative risks. We also provided some clinical examples of patients' management.
