51 patients with focal liver abnormalities at ultrasound were examined by MRI. The cases with liver metastasis of known origin submitted for staging and cholangiocarcinomas of the external bile ducts or gall bladder with liver invasion were not included in the study. Most of the examinations were performed for suspected hepatocarcinoma.

We present a retrospective study over a 10 years period on patients suffering of plunging ranula treated in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Clinic, resumed by a clinical example. These 7 patients with plunging ranula are related to all the patients operated for ranula in the same period of time in our clinic and were analyzed on age, sex, imaging exploration technique, treatment, and outcome.

Purpose: To determine the accuracy of computed tomography (CT) in staging transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis and calyces and to identify whether hydronephrosis proximal to the tumor used as a criterion for minimal invasion may improve the overall accuracy of the method.
Materials And Methods: 24 patients with transitional cell carcinoma of the upper urinary tract underwent preoperative CT. In all cases nephroureterectomy was performed and CT and pathologic staging were compared.
