Objectives: This report describes changes in total, early, and late fetal mortality between 2022 and 2023 (provisional), as well as fetal mortality by maternal race and Hispanic origin and state of residence. Comparisons are made with findings from 2021 to 2022.

Methods: Data are based on reports of fetal death filed in the 50 states and the District of Columbia and collected via the National Vital Statistics System.

: Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCAs) have been found in interstitial lung disease (ILD) in recent years, although its impact on ILD prognosis is less known. To date, ANCAs are not included in the interstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features (IPAF) definition criteria. Therefore, ANCA-ILD, in the absence of known ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV), could be underdiagnosed.

Background: Management of retroperitoneal liposarcoma (RPLPS) is challenging and recurrence rates remain high despite aggressive surgical resections. Preoperative radiation alone lacks definitive benefit, thus we sought to evaluate combined chemoradiotherapy with the potential to enhance local efficacy of radiation as well as control micrometastatic disease. We assessed the safety and tolerability of preoperative eribulin, a cytotoxic microtubule inhibitor approved for the treatment of advanced liposarcoma, in combination with radiation in patients with RPLPS.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the predictive validity and discriminatory ability of clinical outcomes, inflammatory activity, oxidative and vascular damage, and metabolic mechanisms for detecting significant improve maximum heart rate after physical activity training in individuals with psychiatric disorders and obesity comorbid using a longitudinal design and transdiagnostic perspective.

Methods: Patients with major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder and, schizophrenia and with comorbid obesity (n = 29) were assigned to a 12-week structured physical exercise program. Peripheral blood biomarkers of inflammation, oxidative stress, vascular mechanisms, and metabolic activity, as well as neurocognitive and functional performance were assessed twice, before and after intervention.

Multispectral camouflage materials that provide adaptable features across a wide spectrum, from visible light to radar frequencies, play a vital role in sophisticated multi-band electromagnetic (EM) applications. However, conventional single-band stealth is difficult to align with the growing demand for multi-band compatibility and intelligent adaptation. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of cephalopod-inspired MXene-integrated cholesteric liquid crystal elastomers (MXene-CLCEs) with multispectral camouflage capability, which was fabricated through in situ thiol-acrylate Michael addition and free-radical photopolymerization of CLCE precursor and isocyanate-mediated robust covalent chemical bonding of MXene nanocoating at the interface.
