Introduction: Burn survivors may face chronic adverse sequelae from burn injury and report a lack of resources during the aftercare phase of recovery after discharge. This study aimed to identify the resources provided by healthcare institutions to assist adult burn survivors in the post-discharge transition to living in their communities.

Methods: A convenience sample of burn injury healthcare providers in the United States and Canada described resources provided to adult burn survivors and implementation processes.

Wood density is a critical control on tree biomass, so poor understanding of its spatial variation can lead to large and systematic errors in forest biomass estimates and carbon maps. The need to understand how and why wood density varies is especially critical in tropical America where forests have exceptional species diversity and spatial turnover in composition. As tree identity and forest composition are challenging to estimate remotely, ground surveys are essential to know the wood density of trees, whether measured directly or inferred from their identity.

Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a significant global health challenge, exacerbated by inappropriate antibiotic prescribing, particularly in primary care where up to 50% of antibiotic prescriptions prescribed by general practitioners (GPs) and dispensed by community pharmacists (CPs) are deemed inappropriate. Respiratory tract infections (RTIs) are among the most common conditions leading to GP consultations and subsequent antibiotic prescribing, much of which is inappropriate as most RTIs are viral in nature or self-limiting bacterial infections. Point-of-care tests (POCTs) have emerged as tools to improve the diagnosis and appropriate treatment of RTIs.

Objective: This scoping review aims to synthesise the extent and type of evidence on behaviour change interventions which address antibiotic treatment seeking behaviour for respiratory tract infections in the primary care/community setting.

Introduction: Antimicrobial Resistance is recognised as a global health and economic threat by the World Health Organization and World Bank. Several lines of evidence point to patient and public demand as a key driver of inappropriate antibiotic use.
