Educational Challenge: There is an urgent need for innovations in planetary health medical education. Physicians must be prepared to provide high-value, low-carbon healthcare for patients increasingly impacted by the health consequences of climate change.
Proposed Solution: The slides, an evidence-based, open-access pedagogical tool that provides didactic planetary health medical education organized by medical subspecialty, was developed and evaluated by a virtual lecture session that presented a subset of the slides to = 75 Canadian medical students.
During cell death, DNA is fragmented and reaches the bloodstream in the form of cell-free DNA (cfDNA). Luteal cells must undergo an apoptotic process during structural luteolysis to begin a new oestrous cycle. We hypothesized that cfDNA concentrations would increase when inducing luteolysis by applying prostaglandin F (PGF2α) analog to the cycling cow.

Synthetic data were generated by simulating in OpenModelica software the impact of weather conditions on device performance, considering an irradiance range between 50 and 1300 W/m. The outdoor data corresponds to the performance of the evaluated PV modules in outdoor tests in Medellin-Colombia for ten months using capacitive I-V tracers.

The ratio between fracture toughness and intrinsic fracture energy of a soft material defines its toughness enhancement. Soft materials' toughness enhancement has been long attributed to their bulk stress-stretch hysteresis induced by dissipation mechanisms such as Mullins effect and viscoelasticity.
