Bacteria from the complex (Smc) are important multidrug-resistant pathogens that cause a broad range of infections. Smc is genomically diverse and has been classified into 23 lineages. Lineage Sm6 is the most common among sequenced strains, but it is unclear why this lineage has evolved to be dominant.

X-ray diffraction analysis revealed changes in the network structure as a function of CaO content. The intensities of the IR bands due to the sulfate and sulfite units were lowered, indicating a decrease in the sulfurization degree within the lead network.

The results show that the changes in the cementitious composite when it comes to the composition and microstructure influence the formation of the oxide passivating layer of the reinforcement. The addition of TiO nanoparticles and recycled aggregates impacts the kinetics and corrosion mechanism of the reinforcement.
