Background: Education is a tool for the promotion of ethical skills that ensure the principles of conduct and the quality of care provided. The literature is still incipient in this theme; however, some studies point to education and ethical consultations as strategies to promote an ethical environment.

Objective: To map the interventions that aim to prospect the ethical environment in health services.

Association between Moral Distress and Burnout Syndrome in university-hospital nurses.

Objective: to analyze the association between moral distress and Burnout Syndrome among nurses in a university hospital.

Method: descriptive, analytical study conducted with 269 nurses working in a university hospital located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data were collected in person in 2019 by previously trained collectors.

Evolution of single-lead ECG for STEMI detection using a deep learning approach.

Background: While ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) door-to-balloon times are often below 90 min, symptom to door times remain long at 2.5-h, due at least in part to a delay in diagnosis.

Inflammatory bowel disease characterized by multisystemic eosinophilic epitheliotropic disease (MEED) in a horse in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Aflatoxin B exposure and liver cirrhosis in Guatemala: a case-control study.

Objective: In Guatemala, cirrhosis is among the 10 leading causes of death, and mortality rates have increased lately. The reasons for this heavy burden of disease are not clear as the prevalence of prominent risk factors, such as hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus and heavy alcohol consumption, appears to be low. Aflatoxin B (AFB) exposure, however, appears to be high, and thus could be associated with the high burden of cirrhosis.
