Continuing anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody after secondary resection significantly prolongs overall survival for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who were responsive to first-line anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody plus chemotherapy doublet.

The combination of anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) monoclonal antibodies (mAb) and doublet chemotherapy is the standard first-line treatment for patients with wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Some patients may require secondary resection after first-line treatment. However, it remains unclear whether targeted therapy should be continued after liver resection.

Methods: The potential rutin targets were predicted, and the DisGeNET database was used to obtain the disease targets. The intersection targets were identified with Venny 2.

Association between the immune-inflammation indicators and osteoarthritis - NHANES 1999-2018.

Background: Investigate the link between systemic immune-inflammatory index (SII) and Systemic Immune Response Index (SIRI) with osteoarthritis (OA) using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) data (1999-2018).

Methods: Extracted NHANES data (1999-2018) and selected a study population based on demographic, examination, and laboratory data. Calculated SII (platelet count ​× ​neutrophil count/lymphocyte count) and SIRI (neutrophil count ​× ​monocyte count/lymphocyte count).

Correlation of Sensitization with Mucus Plugging in COPD.

Background: Both sensitization and mucus plugs are associated with poor clinical outcomes in COPD. However, little is known about the association between hypersensitivity and mucus plugging in patients with COPD.
