[THE INFLUENCE OF GLUTEN ON THE SHARPNESS OF VISION].

An eighty five old male was diagnosed with celiac disease. Six months before the diagnosis he complained of difficulties in his sight. In an optimetrical examination a decline in sharpness of sight was found: Right (R) - 6/19, Left (L) - 6/12.

Hypothesis: Newborns with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) have a high risk of mortality, ranging from 50% to 70%. Tensioned closure of the narrowed abdominal cavity is detrimental.

Patients And Methods: Twelve high-risk newborns underwent operation for CDH.
