Introduction: Patients with an uncontrolled glycemic index develop a wide variety of pathologies associated with diabetes, such as diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is an adjunctive therapy used to heal wounds and prevent lower extremity amputations in this population.
Objective: This preliminary study aimed to evaluate how HBOT impacts inflammation in patients with Wagner stages 2-4 DFUs by analyzing its effect on the gene expression of key oxidative stress regulators SOD1, SOD2, and GPX2, of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNFα, IL-1β, IL-4, and IL-12, and of the NLRP3 inflammasome.

Purpose: The aim was to translate and adapt The Anterior Cruciate Ligament Return to Sport after Injury Scale (ACL-RSI) to Spanish and provide evidence of its psychometric properties and responsiveness in a both sexes multisport sample.
Methods: ACL-RSI Spanish version (SP ACL-RSI) was obtained by forward-back-translation method. Internal consistency, test-retest reliability, construct validity and responsiveness were assessed.

Booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were suggested to provide additional protection. This study aimed to assess how cancer patients' immune systems respond to the booster shots and categorize their responses.

Yet, the current evidence base is insufficient to identify the optimal dose and neurophysiological mechanism of robotic exoskeleton gait training (RGT) as an effective rehabilitation approach. This study will (1) examine whether the frequency of RGT after motor incomplete SCI impacts function and health outcomes, (2) analyze the neuroplastic effects of RGT dose, and (3) evaluate the safety, tolerability, and feasibility of delivering RGT.
