Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) exhibits a poor 5-year survival rate. TNFRSF4 is gaining attention in tumor therapy. The objective of this study was to forecast the expression of TNFRSF4 in HNSCC tissue using analysis of pathological images and investigate its possible molecular mechanisms.

Background: Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) is significantly correlated with glycolipid metabolic disorders. Increased GDF15 levels are associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and diabetes as well as a poorer diabetes progression and prognosis. This is a prospective cohort study investigated the association between circulating GDF15 and diabetic peripheral artery disease.

Traditional Chinese Medicine, particularly Modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction (MSDD), has demonstrated promise in inhibiting PCa metastasis, although its mechanisms remain unclear.

Methods: The efficacy of MSDD was evaluated using migration assays and a nude mouse model.

Objective: This study aimed to identify predictive factors for the delayed thyroid function recovery in thyrotoxicosis patients.

Design: The study is a retrospective review of medical records of adult thyrotoxicosis patients diagnosed at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan, from January 2014 to December 2021.
