Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate renal artery embolization in patients with spontaneous renal artery bleeding based on detailed angiographic findings and a comprehensive analysis of its efficacy and clinical outcomes.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study evaluated the outcomes of renal artery embolization in 18 cases among 15 patients (11 men and 4 women; mean age: 57.9 years) treated for spontaneous renal bleeding at our institution between March 2017 and October 2023.

Inductively coupled plasma-reactive etching (ICP-RIE) of InGaZnO (IGZO) thin films was studied with variations in gas mixtures of hydrochloride (HCl) and argon (Ar). Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by a distinctive facial appearance, growth/cognitive retardation, developmental delay, skeletal malformation, hypertrichosis, and other abnormalities. Patients with mild CdLS have less severe phenotypes, while retaining representative facial features. Mutations in the genes , , , , and have been associated with CdLS, with mutations in accounting for approximately 60% of cases.

Sodium Phenylbutyrate Attenuates Cisplatin-Induced Acute Kidney Injury Through Inhibition of Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase 4.

Cisplatin nephrotoxicity is a significant clinical issue, and currently, no approved drug exists to prevent cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury (AKI). This study investigated whether sodium phenylbutyrate (4-PBA), a chemical chaperone, can prevent cisplatin-induced AKI. Six consecutive days of intraperitoneal injections of 4-PBA were administered in a murine model before and after the cisplatin challenge.
