Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is one of the most common hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes in Brazil. The high frequency of the syndrome is due to a founding variant (R337H) in the country. LFS is characterized by a wide variety of malignant phenotypes.

Methods: Data from patients with pN1 PCa and received RT with short term (ST, ≤6 mo) or long term (LT, >6 mo) ADT were obtained from 4 academic institutions. Biochemical progression free survival (bPFS) and distant metastasis free survival (DMFS) were evaluated.
In this work, we theoretically explore whether a parity-violating/chiral light-matter interaction is required to capture all relevant aspects of chiral polaritonics or if a parity-conserving/achiral theory is sufficient (e.g., long-wavelength/dipole approximation).

New records of this ray species in southern Peru and northern Chile have expanded their known range. The species is distributed in the Eastern Central Pacific, from southern California to San Andres, on the central coast of Peru, but is poorly known in Chile.

ZAT (zinc finger of Arabidopsis thaliana) proteins play roles in multiple abiotic stress tolerance in Arabidopsis and other species; however, there are few reports on these transcription factors (TFs) in fruit crops. This study aimed to evaluate PpZAT12, a C2H2 TF up-regulated in peach fruit by a heat treatment applied before postharvest cold storage for reducing chilling injury (CI) symptoms.
