Gasotransmitters play crucial roles in regulating many physiological processes, including cell signaling, cellular proliferation, angiogenesis, mitochondrial function, antioxidant production, nervous system functions and immune responses. Hydrogen sulfide (HS) is the most recently identified gasotransmitter, which is characterized by its biphasic behavior. At low concentrations, HS promotes cellular bioenergetics, whereas at high concentrations, it can exert cytotoxic effects.

Background: Clinical supervision by psychiatric liaison clinicians is frequently provided in medical settings such as oncology and palliative care, but rarely in endocrinology. Consequently, the specific psychosocial issues faced by endocrinologists in their daily clinical practice and how they deal with them remain largely unknown. We aimed to explore individual supervisions of endocrinologists to gain insight into what kind of clinical situations they present, how they react to them and how this is worked through in supervision.

Comprehended as an unconscious bond between two or more persons from a psychotherapeutic perspective, definitions and collusive situations described in the medical setting vary. The question arises whether medical collusions, compared to collusions occurring in the psychiatric setting emerge in different clinical situations or are not identified as transference-countertransference experiences, since there is less sensitivity for the unconscious dimensions of care.

A Tracking prior to Localization workflow for Ultrasound Localization Microscopy.

Ultrasound Localization Microscopy (ULM) has proven effective in resolving microvascular structures and local mean velocities at sub-diffraction-limited scales, offering high-resolution imaging capabilities. Dynamic ULM (DULM) enables the creation of angiography or velocity movies throughout cardiac cycles. Currently, these techniques rely on a Localization-and-Tracking (LAT) workflow consisting in detecting microbubbles (MB) in the frames before pairing them to generate tracks.
