Dengue beyond the tropics: a time-series study comprising 2015-2016 versus 2019-2020 at a children's hospital in the City of Buenos Aires.

Introduction: Dengue is a public health problem worldwide. It was originally confined to tropical and subtropical areas, but it is now present in other regions, such as Argentina. Epidemic outbreaks have been observed in the City of Buenos Aires since 2008, with few reports in children.

Towards a Green Port strategy: The decarbonisation of the Port of Vigo (NW Spain).

Carbon footprint (CF) has become a crucial piece to develop strategies to tackle the climate change issue. Its implementation makes it possible establishing a path towards decarbonisation with the aim to comply with European and global greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions guidelines and commitments. Currently, several tools for calculating the CF are available.

Humoral immunity to tetanus, measles and rubella in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy regimens and clinical support advances have improved survival in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The after-effects of treatment are a reason for concern, including damage to the immune system induced by immunosuppressive therapy which is reflected in the loss of antibody protection provided by prior immunizations. Our goal was to assess the presence of measles, rubella, and tetanus protective antibody titers among patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after completing chemotherapy.

Reoperation after lumbar disc surgery: results in 130 cases.

Out of a series of 1850 cases operated upon for lumbar disc herniation 130 underwent re-operation because of persistent or recurrent symptoms. Re-operation was successful in 62%. The prognosis of re-operation was not related to special clinical symptoms and signs but only to the operative findings.

Malignant mesenchymoma of the brain. A case report.

A case of malignant mesenchymoma of the brain, containing rhabdomyosarcomatous, osteoid and cartilaginous components is presented. The patient received surgery and irradiation for his tumor, but died 10 months after the operation. Previous reports of malignant mesenchymoma of the brain are exceptional.
