Commercially available coumarin 343 in combination with reducible Sm(III) ions catalyzed divalent lanthanide-mediated C═O, C-halogen, P-Cl, and N═N reductions at ambient temperature in aqueous solvent mixtures. The catalyst absorbs visible light efficiently. The active divalent species is formed by photoinduced electron transfer from coumarin 343 to the stable trivalent precursor, and the coumarin could be regenerated by strictly 1 equiv of ascorbic acid.

However, unlocking such potential requires effective strategies to spatially engineer material architectures within the nonlinear dynamic regime. Here we introduce an inverse-design framework to discover flexible mechanical metamaterials with a target nonlinear dynamic response.

However, EMT can suffer from electromagnetic distortion in the presence of metal instruments. Metal instruments are widely used in laparoscopic surgery, ENT surgery, arthroscopy and many other clinical applications.

For adequately responding to the causes of this situation and its aftermath, a detailed understanding of the gendered impacts of the pandemic and of subsequent developments is necessary. This aim may be supported by particularly using gender-sensitive modes of inquiry.
