Introduction: Diffuse idiopathic pulmonary neuroendocrine hyperplasia (DIPNECH) is a rare condition that is likely underdiagnosed owing to the lack of established and validated diagnostic criteria. These clinical guidelines are empirical and created on the basis of a limited number of studies.
