Background: Structured reporting has been demonstrated to increase report completeness and to reduce error rate, also enabling data mining of radiological reports. Still, structured reporting is perceived by radiologists as a fragmented reporting style, limiting their freedom of expression.
Purpose: A deep learning-based natural language processing method was developed to automatically convert unstructured COVID-19 chest CT reports into structured reports.
Background: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by hyperproliferation and altered differentiation of keratinocytes in reply to cytokines such as interferon (IFN)-gamma and tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha, provided by infiltrating CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and natural killer cells. Infliximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody that neutralizes both soluble and membrane-bound TNF-alpha, and that may give a long-term disease remission.
Objectives: To determine the in vitro effects of infliximab on CD4+ and CD8+ T cells derived from lesional skin, and on dendritic cells (DCs).
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated skin disease characterized by lymphocytic infiltration and altered keratinocyte differentiation. Using immunohistochemical techniques we found that the cellular infiltrate in acute psoriatic plaques includes 5-8% CD3(-)CD56(+) natural killer (NK) cells, mostly localized in the mid and papillary dermis. NK lymphocytes isolated from punch biopsy specimens of psoriatic plaques showed a CD56(bright)CD16(-)CD158b(-) phenotype, failed to express the skin homing cutaneous lymphocyte-associated antigen and released abundant IFN-gamma upon stimulation.

Alternatively, for use above all in emergency surgery, the paper illustrates a method of clamping the suprahepatic inferior vena cava using a left lateral route, which is quick to carry out and undoubtedly efficient.
