Background: Based on findings from a single-arm, phase 2 basket trial (NCT02454972), lurbinectedin may be an effective treatment for individuals with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) who progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy.
Objective: To estimate the comparative effectiveness of lurbinectedin versus the historical standard of care for relapsed SCLC in Canada.
Methods: A synthetic control arm (SCA) analysis was conducted using real-world data.
This review characterizes fibula mechanics in the context of syndesmosis injury and repair. Through detailed understanding of fibula kinematics (the study of motion) and kinetics (the study of forces that cause motion), the full complexity of fibula motion can be appreciated. Although the magnitudes of fibula rotation and translation are inherently small, even slight alterations of fibula position or movement can substantially impact force propagation through the ankle and hindfoot joints.

We previously reported that SPARC is expressed in Drosophila by hemocytes and the fat body (FB) and enriched in basal laminae (BL) surrounding tissues, including adipocytes. We sought to explore if SPARC is required for proper BL assembly in the FB.

Two experiments are described in which the P300 component of the event-related potential was recorded during a modification of the Deese-Roediger-McDermott false-memory paradigm. P300 amplitudes and topographies were evaluated in both true recognition of previously presented (studied) words and in false recognition of associatively related, never presented (critical lure) words. P300 topography and amplitude did not appear to differ between true and false recognition.
