Background: Nonconsent to pulmonary vascular (or advanced) imaging for suspected pulmonary embolism (PE) in pregnancy can delay diagnosis and treatment, increasing risk of adverse outcomes. We sought to understand factors associated with consent and understand outcomes after nonconsent.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study was undertaken across 21 community hospitals from October 1, 2021, through March 31, 2023.

Background: There are increasing mental health concerns in the construction industry workforce, with stress being a primary concern. This qualitative study investigates stress experiences and the management of stress in office-based and on-site workers in the UK building construction sector. This study can provide key insights for construction, but also potentially other industries which struggle with high stress levels among their employees.

Autistic adolescents frequently encounter difficulties in managing changes associated with puberty, sexuality, and relationships, and parents may be a useful source of sexual and reproductive health education (SRE) for this population. Despite this, few evidence-based programs exist to support parents in this role. Thus, there is a need for the development of such programs, particularly those incorporating the lived experiences of key stakeholders.

HRD is common in cancer and can be exploited therapeutically, as it sensitizes cells to DNA-damaging agents. Here, we scored more than 1,300 cancer cell lines for HRD using two different bioinformatic approaches, thereby enabling large-scale analyses that provide insights into the etiology and features of HRD.
