Background: Depolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastics using enzymes, such as PETase, offers a sustainable chemical recycling route. To enhance degradation, many groups have sought to engineer PETase for faster catalysis on PET and elevated stability. Background: The impact of social frailty on older adults is profound including mortality risk, functional decline, falls, and disability. However, effective strategies that respond to the needs of socially frail older adults are lacking and few studies have unpacked how social determinants operate or how interventions can be adapted during periods requiring social distancing and isolation such as the COVID-19 pandemic. To address these gaps, we conducted a scoping review using JBI methodology to identify interventions that have the best potential to help socially frail older adults (age ≥65 years).

There was a renewed vigour among the participants attending the 16th Annual European CME Forum (#16ECF), which took place in the Hague, the Netherlands from 8-10 November 2023. This emanated from the meeting having reverted to an in-person format to promote engagement among attendees. Real-time captions appear to be an effective tool in assisting deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) college students' access information and communication in certain classroom settings. However, there is limited knowledge of DHH students' direct experiences with real-time captioning services. In this study, we gathered narratives from 15 DHH college students across the United States about their experiences with real-time captioning services in college.
