Background: The aim of the current study was to develop a simplified collateral score for basilar artery occlusion and assess its impact on the relationship between procedure time and outcomes.

Methods And Results: The derivation cohort (n=221) from the ATTENTION (Endovascular Treatment for Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion) study was used. Variables identified by logistic regression were used to develop the Basilar Artery Collateral Simplified Score (BACSS).

Molecular epidemiological study on tick-borne pathogens in Qinghai Province, Northwestern China.

Recently, there has been a continuous stream of reports on emerging tick-borne pathogens affecting humans. Qinghai Province, located in the northweastern region, is one of China's major pastoral areas, providing a suitable environment for ticks' survival and transmitting tick-borne pathogens. Here, we collected 560 free-living and parasitic ticks from 11 locations in Qinghai Province using the flag-drag method or tweezers, identifying them as belonging to 4 species of ticks.

The GIBBERELLIN INSENSITIVE DWARF1 (GID1) gene encodes a receptor integral to Gibberellic acid (GA) signaling, which is pivotal for plant growth, development, and stress responses. Until now, GID1 genes have not been documented in mango. In this research, the mango (Mangifera indica) genome yielded four GID1 homologous genes, and this study focuses on the research of MiGID1A and MiGID1B genes.

Analysis of the therapeutic efficacy of OLIF combined with posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation in the treatment of patients with primary lumbar spondylodiscitis.

Introduction: Primary lumbar spondylodiscitis is a serious condition with an increasing incidence rate.

Methods: From January 2021 to June 2023, we adopted a single-stage oblique lateral approach for the debridement of lumbar infection foci, intervertebral bone grafting fusion, tube irrigation drainage, combined with posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation for the treatment of primary lumbar spondylodiscitis.

Results: We found that this surgical technique significantly improved the patients' lower back pain symptoms.
