- This study examined the effectiveness of blue light cystoscopy (BLC) compared to white light cystoscopy (WLC) for detecting non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) in 378 patients from the Veterans Affairs system.
- Results showed that BLC led to a longer median time before recurrence (40 months) compared to WLC (26 months) and significantly reduced recurrence risk (with a Hazard Ratio of 0.70).
- The study concluded that BLC is more effective in prolonging time to recurrence without significant racial disparities in outcomes among Black and White patients.
Rational: Pending the authorization of new anti-CMV drugs with fewer adverse effects, exploring the possibilities offered by CMV immunoglobulins (CMVIG) seems necessary. In France, access to CMVIG requires official authorization by the national Health authority and is restricted to second line rescue therapy for CMV infection/disease. The aim of this multicenter retrospective study is to describe the indications and clinical situations that justified its use in France.

Materials And Methods: Two radiographers read a test set of 1000 screening mammograms previously reported by a consultant radiologist. Three radiographers then acted as a second reader for 54,000 screening mammograms, their recall results are presented.
