Exposure to airborne particulate matter during commuting using portable sensors: Effects of transport modes in a French metropolis study case.

Outdoor exposure to particulate matter (PM and PM) in urban areas can vary considerably depending on the mode of transport. This study aims to quantify this difference in exposure during daily travel, by carrying out a micro-sensor measurement campaign. The pollutant exposure was assessed simultaneously over predefined routes in order to allow comparison between different transport modes having the same starting and ending points.

A Hydrazone Ligand for Iridium-Catalyzed C-H Borylation: Enhanced Reactivity and Selectivity for Fluorinated Arenes.

Ir-catalyzed C-H borylations of fluorinated and cyanated arenes with high -to-F/CN are described. Use of a dipyridyl hydrazone framework as the ancillary ligand and pinacolborane (HBpin) as the functionalizing reagent generates catalysts that are significantly more active selective than 4,4'-di--butyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dtbpy) for both electron-deficient and electron-rich substrates. Investigation of the ligand framework resulted in the observation of formal -borylation of the hydrazone by HBpin, as evidenced by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.

The effect of executive function on health related quality of life in children with self-limited epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes.

Aim: The current study aims to investigate the effect of Executive Functions (EFs) on Health Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) in a cohort of children with self-limited epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes (SeLECTS) and to identify possible factors that impact HRQoL specifically related to epilepsy-related variables and EFs skills.

Material And Method: The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory 4.0 Generic Core Scales (PedsQL) and The Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF-2 and BRIEF-P) were completed by the parents of 129 patients with SeLECTS.

Peroneal mononeuropathy and polyneuropathy in adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa: a case report and literature review.

Peroneal neuropathy and polyneuropathy are displayed with a variable percentage in subjects affected by eating disorders and in particular by anorexia nervosa. Actually, little is known on features of these complications during the paediatric age. We describe the case of a female adolescent with right peroneal palsy and subclinical polyneuropathy associated with anorexia nervosa (AN).
