Greenhouse vegetable production is often associated with the excessive use of nitrogen fertilizers and a high rate of nitrate accumulation. We evaluated the uptake, translocation, and accumulation of nitrate in chard and spinach under greenhouse conditions with optimal fertilization. The results revealed low levels of nitrate in the leachates and substrates (chard ˃ spinach).

The goal of the present study was to assess the effects of age and sex on surgical outcomes in CMI.
Methods: In the present study, the authors examined MRI-based morphometric data from 115 individuals diagnosed with CMI (54 adults including 39 women and 15 men, and 61 children including 24 girls and 37 boys) and correlated them with Chicago Chiari Outcome Scale (CCOS) scores obtained 1 year after posterior fossa decompression.
Although chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy has revolutionized type B cancer treatment, efficacy remains limited in various lymphomas and solid tumors. Reinforcing conventional CAR-T cells to release cytokines can improve their efficacy but also increase safety concerns. Several strategies have been developed to regulate their secretion using minimal promoters that are controlled by chimeric proteins harboring transactivators.
