Article Synopsis
  • Resilient mounts are crucial for reducing vibrations and shocks, and this study focuses on understanding their static and dynamic behaviors through experimental testing and analysis.
  • Various tests (tension, compression, shear) were conducted to create stress-strain curves, and the Yeoh hyperelastic model was reviewed and calibrated to accurately describe the mounts' material behavior.
  • The study found that increasing preload changes the mounts' dynamic response, lowering the frequencies of transmissibility curves and resonance peaks, providing important insights for designing vibration isolation systems, especially in naval applications.

The effectiveness of a ductile fracture model in accurately predicting fracture initiation has been demonstrated. In this study, we concentrate on applying the ductile fracture model to pre-cracked structures constructed from SUS304L stainless steel with experimental and numerical analyses. The Swift hardening law was employed to extend the plastic behavior beyond the onset of necking.

The petals of Rosa rugosa and allied plants for medicinal use contain abundant hydrolysable tannins, and they show remarkable biological activities. The activities are dependent on the structures of the hydrolysable tannins, so their contents and compositions are essential for evaluation of medicinal potency. Therefore, we optimized the simultaneous quantitative determination of the hydrolysable tannins using ultra-performance liquid chromatography.
