Case of pigmented neurofibroma with hypertrichosis with no association to neurofibromatosis.

Pigmented neurofibroma (PNF) is a rare cutaneous tumor that has been observed in patients with or without neurofibromatosis (NF). This tumor is histologically characterized by the coexistence of scattered melanin-laden cells and benign spindle cells with neural differentiations. Hypertrichosis is the excessive growth of hair on non-androgen-dependent areas of the body.

A Case of a Surviving Male Infant with Incontinentia Pigmenti.

Incontinentia pigmenti (Bloch-Sulzberger's disease) is an X-linked dominantly inherited disorder which is usually lethal in hemizygous males, but rarely found in male infants. It can be explained by the presence of an extra X chromosome (Klinefelter's syndrome), hypomorphic mutations, and somatic mosaicism. We herein report a rare case of incontinentia pigmenti with typical course of skin manifestation in normal karyotype (46, XY) male infant.

Two human cases of tick bite caused by Ixodes nipponensis.

We report two human cases of tick bite. A 63-year-old male had a pruritic pea-sized brownish nodule on the left popliteal area. Another 41-year-old male had an asymptomatic bean-sized black nodule in the pubic area.

A simple technique for treatment of nasal telangiectasia using trichloroacetic acid and CO2 laser.

Background: Nasal telangiectasia is a common disfiguring condition and may cause significant psychological distress. Although lasers are effective in treating such lesions, there are many disadvantages, such as purpura, scarring, and cost.

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of a combination therapy of CO2 laser and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) for nasal telangiectasia.
