Purpose: We assessed the proportion of patients with a focal intrahepatic stricture (FIHS) that was a precursor lesion or malignancy and visualized only as a duct dilatation.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study assessed patients who underwent surgery or biopsy for an FIHS on CT or MRI between January 2010 and March 2022. The number and proportion of non-precursor benign lesions, precursors, and malignancies were calculated.
Objectives: Concern about contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) may delay the timely administration of contrast media for computed tomography (CT). The precise causative effect of iodinated contrast media on CI-AKI and its relevant risk factors remains an area of ongoing investigation. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the risk of CI-AKI following contrast-enhanced CT and its predisposing risk factors.

Methods: The imaging outcomes of 120 patients (162 observations) prospectively enrolled between November 2011 and August 2012 were analysed according to LI-RADS v2018. Cumulative incidences for progression to a malignant category (LR-5 or LR-M) and LR-4 or higher were calculated for each baseline category and compared using log-rank tests.
We describe a rare case of aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) that occurred in the petrous portion of the temporal bone. The ABCs were treated with preoperative embolization and complete removal of the mass from the adjacent tissue. The technical details suggest that preoperative embolization is a good treatment option for ABCs.
