Extracellular vesicles (EVs) possess the characteristics of their parent cells, based on which various studies have actively investigated treatments for diseases using mesenchymal stem cell-derived EVs due to their regenerative activity. Zinc oxide nanostructures (ZnO NS) were fabricated in situ within a ternary hydrogel system composed of carboxymethyl cellulose-agarose-polyvinylpyrrolidone (CAP@ZnO TNCHs) by a one-pot method employing moist-heat solution casting. The percentages of CMC and ZnO NS were varied in the CAP hydrogel films and then they were investigated by different techniques, such as ATR/FTIR, TGA, XRD, XPS, and FE-SEM analysis. This study evaluates the antibody responses to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in patients with neuroimmunological disorders (pwNID) who are receiving immunomodulating treatments, compared to healthy individuals. It included 25 pwNID with conditions such as optic neuritis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and polymyositis, as well as 56 healthy controls. All participants had completed their full SARS-CoV-2 vaccination schedule, and their blood samples were collected within six months of their last dose.

We propose a novel, to the best of our knowledge, method to estimate the thickness and refractive index of a thin film by analyzing the reflectance as a function of the incidence angle. In most cases, interference fringes cannot be obtained from a film within a practical angular range unless it is much thicker than the wavelength. This problem was solved by adopting a high-index material as the medium of incidence, in which case several cycles of interference fringes were observed within a small range of incidence angles near the critical angle, allowing a fringe analysis.
