Introduction: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the proportion of greater trochanter (GT) fractures with occult extension to the intertrochanteric region on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) among apparently isolated GT fractures and to investigate the use of MRI for formulating a treatment strategy in patients with isolated GT fractures.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective cohort study reviewed 37 patients with isolated GT fractures on plain radiography. Surgical or conservative treatment was decided according to MRI findings.

Purpose: This study is performed to identify risk factors for delirium in osteoporotic hip fractures and to evaluate the hospitalization cost and clinical outcomes of delirium in osteoporotic hip.
Methods: A total of 221 patients with osteoporotic hip fractures were assessed for eligibility between 2010 and 2014. Among them, 37 patients with delirium were allocated into the delirium group (group D) and 37 patients without delirium were allocated into the non-delirium group (group ND) by matching demographic factors.
The three-dimensional (3D) kinematics of the scapula were analyzed in vivo in 10 patients with scapular and 10 patients with clavicular fracture. Both the injured shoulder and normal contralateral shoulder were evaluated by computed tomography in the neutral and fully elevated positions. 3D rotational and translational movements of the scapula relative to the thorax during arm elevation were analyzed.
