Preliminary outcomes of the European multicentre experience with the ZSI 375 artificial urinary sphincter for treatment of stress urinary incontinence in men.

Introduction: The ZSI 375 is a new artificial urinary sphincter utilised in men suffering from stress urinary incontinence (SUI). We present the first European multicentre study on the effectiveness of ZSI 375.

Material And Methods: This study was conducted in a retrospective, non-randomized format in centres across Europe.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the artificial urinary sphincter ZSI 375 device in male patients with stress urinary incontinence (SUI) at 10 centres.

Methods: This was a retrospective, nonrandomised, multicentre study. From January 2012 to December 2014, and follow-up to February 2016, men with SUI were treated with the ZSI 375 device.

Early results of a European multicentre experience with a new self-anchoring adjustable transobturator system for treatment of stress urinary incontinence in men.

Objective: To report our experience with a new self-anchoring adjustable transobturator male system (ATOMS®; AMI, Vienna, Austria) for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in men.

Patients And Methods: A total of 99 men, in a number of centres, were treated for SUI with the new ATOMS® device. The device was implanted in all patients using an outside-in technique by passing the obturator foramen and anchoring the device to the inferior pubic ramus.
