Purpose: It is aimed to evaluate the effect of maxillary sinus elevation with lateral antrostomy approach on mucociliary functions using the saccharin test.
Methods: The study was planned prospectively. 29 patients who underwent maxillary sinus elevation were included in the study.

Although it is widely used, there is still no valid treatment for ototoxicity caused by the antineoplastic drug cisplatin. In this study, we aimed to investigate the efficacy of intratympanic resveratrol and intratympanic dexamethasone treatment in cisplatin-induced ototoxicity. We also compared intratympanic atosiban (oxytocin antagonist) and oxytocin in cisplatin ototoxicity.

Methods: The study, which included 87 patients, was designed as two groups. While 42 of the patients were included in the Laryngopharyngeal Reflux group, 45 were included in the control group.
Objective: We aimed to examine the relationship between chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps and microplastics.
Methods: A total of 80 patients participated in this prospectively planned study. The patients were divided into two groups.
Introduction Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) causes olfactory loss one of the initial diagnostic criteria. The brief smell identification test (BSIT) is an objective test frequently used in olfactory dysfunction. This study aimed to observe the changes in olfactory functions and clinical features in a short time in COVID-19.

A total of 54 patients who were included in the study were divided into two groups: group 1 (autospreader group; = 27) and group 2 (let-down group; = 27). Open technical septorhinoplasty operation using an autospreader flap was performed in group 1.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare open technique rhinoplasty with spreader graft and Let Down rhinoplasty using Nasal Symptom Obstruction Evaluation (NOSE), Sinonasal Outcome Test-22 (SNOT-22), and Visual Analog Scale (VAS).
Materials And Methods: A total of 50 patients were included in the study. Patients with a hump greater than 4 mm and mild septal deviation participated in the study.
Ototoxicity is the general name of cochlear and vestibular organ injury resulting from encountering various therapeutic agents and chemical substances. Cisplatin is commonly used in the treatment of many cancers. In this study, the efficacy of intratympanic steroids was compared for preventing cisplatin ototoxicity.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFPurpose: The main aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of intratympanic administration of dexamethasone and resveratrol in preventing cisplatin ototoxicity by measuring acoustic brainstem response (ABR) and distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE).
Methods: Forty rats (80 ears) were divided into five groups. Cisplatin was administered intraperitoneally to the first group (n = 8).
