A total of 247 patients with urinary and fecal incontinence were studied. Males suffered from urinary incontinence thrice as frequently as females. Only about a half of patients saw pediatric psychiatrists when aged 7 to 10 years that was indicative of insufficient medical assistance to these patients and lack of public information on the nature of infantile urinary and fecal incontinence.

Clinico-catamnestic and logopedic examinations were carried out in 125 patients who had been suffering from grave neurosis-like spasmophemia since the speech mastering. By the time of the examination the patients' average age was 20 years. The examinations have shown that in 59%, of the patients the spasmophemia has ceased; 22% have had a considerable improvement; in 10% there was a slight improvement, and 9% showed no improvement at all.

The study deals with an observation of 70 children and adolescents (boys) from 12-16 years who displayed pathological personality formation of an asthenical, anxious-dubious and pseudoschizoid type. The clinical traits of neurotical characterological disturbances depended upon the age of the onset of the urological disease, rate of its development, the attitude of the patients to his somatical disorder, rearing and the factor of deprivation. In order to prevent the appearance of deformed personality in such cases of wide and long-term use of group and individual psychotherapy is recommended.
