This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical efficacy of Uncut Roux-en-Y and Billroth II anastomoses in gastrointestinal reconstruction following laparoscopic D2 radical gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer. The primary objective was to compare the postoperative outcomes, including quality of life and complication rates, between the 2 surgical techniques. Objectives: This meta-analysis aims to explore the impact of acupressure on nausea and vomiting for patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC).
Background: Acupressure may have some potential in managing nausea and vomiting after LC.
Patients And Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, EBSCO, and Cochrane library databases were systematically searched, and we included randomized controlled trials assessing the effect of acupressure on nausea and vomiting for LC.
The increased worldwide mortality rate due to liver cancer may be attributed to the aggressive nature of the disease. Signal transduction through G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) can affect a number of aspects of cancer biology, including invasion, migration and vascular remodelling. JTC-801, a novel GPCR antagonist, has demonstrated promising anticancer effects in adenocarcinoma and osteosarcoma cells.
