The ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (RSOV), a rare but well-recognized clinical entity, is invariably a form of left-to-right shunt due to rupture into right-sided chambers. It causes profound hemodynamic effects, especially when the rupture is acute. Like most other left-to-right shunts, it was only a matter of time before this rare defect also became amenable to transcatheter closure (TCC).

Endolymphatic duct blockage (EDB) is favored for its minimal risk and ability to preserve hearing. One of the main challenges in the technique is the difficulty in accurately identifying the endolymphatic duct (ED).

The exponential growth of medical knowledge, accompanied by societal changes and expectations for the upcoming generation of physicians, is placing immense pressure on academic institutions to reform their curricula, particularly foundational courses such as human anatomy. Consequently, instructors are grappling with the challenge of striking a balance between a new curriculum and maintaining the time-honored benchmarks of medical education.

The statistically equivalent signature (SES) method, inspired by constraint-based learning of Bayesian networks, is employed to identify essential features in CKD. Unlike conventional feature selection methods, which typically focus on a single set of features with the highest predictive potential, the SES method can identify multiple predictive feature subsets with similar performance.

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision are highly regarded for their ability to enhance the accessibility of large datasets for dynamic training and deliver efficient real-time intelligent technologies and predictable models. The application of AI and computer vision techniques to enhance the analysis of clinical data is referred to as eHealth solutions that employ advanced approaches to aid medical applications.

ML-1 is a membrane protein comprising 6 Trans regions, which are situated at the LELs, a serine lipase area, and a nuclear localization sign. The characteristic features of the ML4 patients are mental retardation and skeletal deformities due to an increase in lipid molecules in the brain, other tissues, and organs.

In the context of endodontic files, the efficacy of these instruments is critically dependent on the properties of their outermost layer. Surface treatments and coatings can substantially improve these characteristics.

In office methods for immediate relief of dentinal hypersensitivity (DH) has long been an area of research. This study compared the efficacy of 660 nm diode laser, 980 nm diode laser, and amorphous calcium phosphate-casein phosphopeptide (ACP-CPP) agent in the treatment of DH. A total of 39 patients with minimum three hypersensitive teeth in at least one quadrant were selected and randomly divided into three groups; Group A, B, and C patients were treated by 660 nm diode laser, 980 nm diode laser, and ACP-CPP agent, respectively.

We report a real-world study of clinical outcomes in young people treated with ETI at our CF centre within the first two years of its availability.
Methods: Participants aged 12-17 were identified within our clinic, with demographic data supplemented by the UK CF registry.
Background: Choledocholithiasis, or stones in the common bile duct (CBD), has two types: primary stones that form in the CBD and secondary stones that migrate from the gallbladder. Management includes endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgical methods. In India, the availability of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and laparoscopic surgery is limited often necessitating open procedures.

Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) is a frequently encountered cause of chronic dizziness, significantly impacting daily life. Despite its prevalence, PPPD remains underdiagnosed, particularly in South India, where clinical data are limited. This study aims to assess the prevalence of PPPD and its clinical characteristics in this region.

The morpho-physiological functions of tomato such as gas exchange, growth and development, flowering, fruit setting, quality, fruit size, weight that can influence the yield and production is drastically affected by higher temperatures. Among the growth stages of tomato, flowering and fruit setting stage is highly vulnerable to high temperature resulting in reduced flower numbers, increased flower abortion, stigma exertion, abnormal ovule, reduced pollen germination, pollen numbers, pollen tube development, pollen viability and increased male sterility.

Spinal accessory nerve to suprascapular nerve transfer by dorsal approach is advantageous since it brings the site of neurotization closer to the neuromuscular end plate and minimizes donor muscle weakness. This surgery is found to be challenging owing to the small and deep operative field.
