Here, we analyzed in depth the genome of the previously studied bacteriophage OSYSP (phage OSYSP), revealed its application-related characteristics, and optimized its enumeration techniques for facilitating industrial implementation. We previously sequenced phage OSYSP genome completely by combining results from Illumina Miseq and Ion Torrent sequencing platforms and completing the remaining sequence gaps using PCR.

Methods: The study included patients who had been operated on for endometrioid-type EC in three gynecological oncology centers between 2007 and 2023. The supramesenteric lymph node (SM-LN) is the region between the left renal vein and the IMA, whereas the inframesenteric lymph node (IM-LN) is the region between the IMA and the aortic bifurcation, as determined by the level of the IMA.
Introduction: The Modified Four Square Step Test (mFSST) evaluates dynamic stabilization by using tape instead of canes to prevent people from tripping over obstacles and losing their balance. There was no study investigating reliability and validity in primary total hip arthroplasty (THA). This study aimed to evaluate the test-retest reliability, concurrent validity, and minimum detectable change in the mFSST for individuals with primary THA.

This study used a batch-mode anaerobic leach bed reactor (LBR) with leachate circulation to ferment the organic fraction of municipal solid waste, producing high concentrations of butyric acid, along with notable amounts of lactic and caproic acids. These results provide valuable insights and underscore the need for process optimization within conventional fermentation systems.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) consists of physical, behavioral, and emotional symptoms occurring during the last week of luteal phase. The aim of the study was to determine the incidence of PMS, and document menstrual cycle characteristics of PKU patients to reveal the relationship with blood Phe levels.

Methods: This study was designed as a prospective cohort study in children aged between 6 and 18 years, with exogenous obesity who applied to Istanbul Research and Training Hospital, Pediatrics Department, between January 2018 and July 2019. Beginning at the sixth month, a program for nutrition and behavior education for obesity prevention and treatment was initiated and continued during the second half of the study period.
By 2050, global sewage sludge production is expected to increase by 51 %, rising from its current level of over 45 million tons of dry solids to nearly 68 million tons. This growth is primarily driven by population growth and the implementation of increasingly stringent environmental regulations. This increase in sewage sludge volume poses substantial challenges for sustainable management due to its complex composition.

The thulium fiber laser, with its superficial penetration depth, can offer a rapid learning process by causing less heat injury and capsule damage. This study compares the first 60 cases of an endourologist performing thulium fiber enucleation of the prostate (ThuFLEP) without a mentor to the results of OP and TURP performed by experienced surgeons.

Methods: Patients over 14 years of age with maxillary canine teeth who had CBCT images taken for any dental reason were included in the study. Resorption of teeth adjacent to maxillary canines was analyzed according to transversal, vertical, and buccopalatinal positions on the CBCT.
Background: Associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy is the most prevalent liver disease that women typically experience during pregnancy. This study aimed to evaluate prenatal comfort, sleep, and quality of life in pregnant women with cholestasis.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was implemented between November 2022 and June 2023 at Mardin Training and Research Hospital with 150 pregnant women who received a diagnosis of pregnancy-induced intrahepatic cholestasis and agreed to participate.
Aim: This study aims to investigate the impact of integrating molecular and histopathological findings into the revised International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2023 staging system on patients initially diagnosed with stage I endometrial cancer (EC) according to the FIGO 2009 criteria.
Methods: A cohort of 197 EC patients, initially classified as stage I under FIGO 2009, underwent restaging based on the updated FIGO 2023 criteria. The patients' molecular and histopathological characteristics were documented, and their impact on upstaging was analyzed.
Purpose: On February 6, 2023, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred consecutively in Turkey and Syria.

Methods: The study is of methodological design and was conducted with 222 children, aged 8 to 12 years, with type 1 diabetes who were registered at a training and research hospital's diabetes outpatient clinic. The item pool of the study consisted of 22 statements.
Introduction: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has significantly impacted various aspects of healthcare services, including emergency care services. Healthcare staff face mental issues and physical exertion when caring for patients potentially infected with COVID-19. Understanding the experiences and perspectives of emergency department (ED) healthcare staff during the COVID-19 pandemic is essential to inform evidence-based interventions and strategies to mitigate the impact on emergency care services.
