Introduction: Squamous and adenosquamous carcinomas of the gallbladder have poor prognosis. Because these tumors are silent in the initial stage, they are generally diagnosed in advanced stages.
Material And Method: We performed a retrospective observational study of five patients with squamous or adenosquamous carcinoma of the gallbladder.
Background: At the beginning of the last decade, different groups of workers developed almost simultaneously the laparoscopic splenectomy technique. From then on, and based on the accumulated experience done in the field, this technique has become the preferred approach.
Objectives: to analyze the results obtained with laparoscopic splenectomy on 29 patients with various pathologies.
