The multi-cohort Glitipni phase I trial investigates the safety and feasibility of intraoperative intracerebral (iCer) and postoperative intracavitary (iCav) nivolumab (NIVO) ± ipilimumab (IPI) treatment following maximal safe resection (MSR) in rHGG.
Materials And Methods: Patients received 10 mg IV NIVO within 24 h before surgery, followed by MSR, iCer 5 mg IPI and 10 mg NIVO, and Ommaya catheter placement in the resection cavity.

Material And Methods: The EANS Neuro-oncology Section panel developed an online survey asking questions regarding criteria for expertise in neuro-oncological surgery and sent it to all individual EANS members.

We present a case report of a mutant malignantly transformed and disseminated PXA that was successfully treated with BRAF-/MEK-targeted therapy (dabrafenib/trametinib).
Case Presentation: At the age of 16 years, our patient underwent an initial subtotal resection of a right occipital PXA.

Background: The cervical lateral approach can enlarge the spinal canal and foramen to achieve an effective neural decompression without needing spine stabilization. For this review, the authors' main objective was to illustrate the rationale, advantages, disadvantages, complications, and pitfalls of this technique, highlighting also areas for future development.
Materials And Methods: A Medline via PubMed database search was carried out by using both keywords, namely "cervical oblique corpectomy," "multilevel oblique corpectomy and foraminotomy," and "lateral vertebrectomy," and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms from 1 January 1991, up to 31 December 2021.
The aim of this paper is to show how the analytical modelling of a simplified acoustic device (herein a simplified wind musical instrument) may be a relevant educational way to study several aspects of the behavior of an idealized component [herein a one-dimensional (1-D) resonator], which is the core component of the device considered. A time-dependent source, whether sinusoidal, impulse, or representing approximate valve-effects of the reed, is coupled to the resonator in the analytical modelling. The unavoidable thermo-viscous parietal dissipation, as well as an approximate radiation effect, are accounted for.

While several computer vision (CV) methods have been developed and implemented for analyzing surgical scenes, few studies have been dedicated to neurosurgery.
Research Question: In this work, we present a systematic literature review focusing on CV methodologies specifically applied to the analysis of neurosurgical procedures based on intra-operative images and videos.
Introduction: Orbital surgery has always been disputed among specialists, mainly neurosurgeons, otorhinolaryngologists, maxillofacial surgeons and ophthalmologists. The orbit is a borderland between intra- and extracranial compartments; Krönlein's lateral orbitotomy and the orbitozygomatic infratemporal approach are the historical milestones of modern orbital-cranial surgery.
Research Question: Since its first implementation, endoscopy has significantly impacted neurosurgery, changing perspectives and approaches to the skull base.
Objective: To assess the effects of group tele-exercise participation on physical activity (PA) determinants and behavior as identified by social cognitive theory (SCT) in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Design: This clinically registered non-randomized trial [NCT05360719] used a single-group parallel mixed methods design. Quantitative and qualitative primary measures were assessed at pre-program and after 8-week intervention completion (post-program), with an additional 8-week period retention to capture quantitative assessments only.
Objective: Although the use of different types of valves has been extensively studied in shunt surgery for communicating hydrocephalus (cHC), a consensus about the valve type remains absent. The objective of this study is to evaluate our results with the primary placement of nonprogrammable valves (NPVs) for this indication.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed all first NPVs implanted between 2014 and 2020 for cHC.
Background And Purpose: More than 50% of individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) report no regular exercise due to numerous barriers to participation. Tele-exercise services offer viable solutions to reduce barriers. However, limited evidence for SCI-specific tele-exercise programs is available.
