Nursing outcomes for pain assessment of patients undergoing palliative care.

Objective: To select outcomes and indicators of the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), in order to assess patients with cancer under palliative care with Acute and Chronic Pain Nursing Diagnoses; and to construct the conceptual and operational definitions of the indicators.

Method: Expert opinion study and literature review. The sample consisted of 13 experts.

[Mapping the nursing care with the NIC for patients in risk for pressure ulcer].

Objective: To identify the nursing care prescribed for patients in risk for pressure ulcer (PU) and to compare those with the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) interventions.

Method: Cross mapping study conducted in a university hospital. The sample was composed of 219 adult patients hospitalized in clinical and surgical units.

Brazilian validation of the nursing outcomes for acute pain.

Purpose: Validate the outcomes from the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) for the Acute Pain nursing diagnosis.

Methods: The content validation of the seven NOC outcomes and their respective indicators was performed using an adaptation of Fehring's model and was analyzed by descriptive statistics.

Findings: Six were classified as critical and one was classified as supplemental.

[Patients with gastric cancer submitted to gastrectomy: an integrative review].

This study aims to analyze the scientific production about patients with gastric cancer submitted to gastrectomy and describe important aspects of nursing guidelines for these patients. An integrative review was carried out using Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) databases; twenty two articles were analyzed. Retrospective cross-sectional studies were the most frequent.
